I work from the beautiful Sacrament, located at 86 Pitt Street, Central Auckland. The studio is up a flight of stairs that you can access through wooden doors with glass panels nestled between Ritual Barbers and Crushes. I occasionally do guest spots around the Aotearoa (New Zealand), you can find me most often in Wellington. If you were looking to get work done by me, send me an enquiry to let me know where you are and I will do my best to accommodate. also keep an eye out for markets and little pop-up events during the year. I love working in community with the creatives around me.

Parking on Karangahape Road and its surrounds can be notoriously difficult, we are anxiously awaiting the train line opening some time in late 2026! Until then your options are two AT carparks on either end of K’ Road - Upper Queen Street (6 min walk) and Gundry Street (10 min walk), or a Wilsons carpark on Cross Street which will lead out onto K’ Road through Lim Chhour Supermarket. these can get pricey, so please plan accordingly or make use of the many bus routes that lead up to K’ Road.
Public transport can face delays and sometimes doesn’t run super often, please make sure you leave enough time to come in and make sure to message me if you’re experiencing delays. Most of the time we can still make it work!

Sacrament is up two flights of stairs with a 90 degree bend in the middle. This will make it difficult for those using accessibility devices to access the studio. If this applies to you, please send me an enquiry and I will see what I can arrange with surrounding accessible studios so we have a chance to work together.

A $100 deposit is required to secure any flash design and session date. No bookings are final before a deposit has been made.
My minimum charge is $150. This is to cover setup costs, time spent drawing and tattooing. Minimum cost tattoos could include simple finger tattoos, smaller letter tattoos or minimalistic illustrations on arm or leg placements. A full day session (6 to 7 hours) is $900. If I believe your session will run that long or require multiple sessions, we will have a discussion about your specific needs.
Factors like the area you're wanting to tattoo; the level of detail; shading or blackout areas; amount of research and size of the design all play a role in determining the final price. How much time a piece takes to tattoo isn't necessarily considered as I don't want to punish anyone monetarily for needing to take frequent breaks for any reason. I've practiced my craft so that you don't have to be under the needle for longer than is needed.
Please let me know if you have a specific budget in mind. I can work with you to make something special that you love and fits your price point. We can discuss breaking up bigger pieces into separate sessions to better fit your budget. In this case, your deposit will carry over to the following sessions and act as a reservation for those dates. This means your deposit will only be subtracted from your last sessions' total.
I will do session discounts for filling a last minute cancellation slot (look out for those on my Instagram story) or when getting multiple pieces in one session. I also have Afterpay available, please let me know if you are intending to use this payment method at the beginning of your session so I can set it up for you.

Most of the time - no. If you have a clear idea of what you want, I can work from very rough sketches or descriptions. If you have a vague idea of what you want and aren’t sure how to execute it or how it would work as a tattoo, a consultation would be useful. It will allow for us to chat through your desired outcome and I can lead the way with suggestions.
Another reason I might set up a consult is if we are taking on a particularly large project that will require multiple sessions, or if we are wanting to fill a tricky gap and I need to take a tracing of the area. If you are just wanting to chat beforehand, ask some questions and make sure I am the right artist for you, we can also arrange for that! Consults are always free and non-binding.

Instagram messages are notoriously difficult to work with. To ensure I get your booking enquiry, please send me a submission through this link. Fill in as much of the form as possible to ensure I can give you an accurate quote and keep an eye on your inbox. I try to respond asap during work hours.
If you are just wanting to ask some questions, you can always email me on stabbygabby.gif@gmail.com.
I welcome anyone of any background into my space and do not tolerate any homophobia; transphobia; fatphobia; sexism; racism; zionism or ageism.

Custom designs will be presented to you the morning of our session, unless arranged prior.
This is when you can request changes be made before we get to stenciling. When booking in a custom it is understood that you want it in my drawing style, or you have provided clear examples of the style you are after. If there is a specific piece you were drawn to, please attach references in the submission form.
If I feel your piece will be better suited for another artist's style and skillset I will refer you to them.

Flash refers to pre-drawn tattoo designs, typically displayed on sheets in tattoo shops for clients to browse and choose from. These designs range from simple tattoo classics (like hearts, daggers, or initials) to more elaborate or themed sets. Flash gives clients a fast, accessible way to select a tattoo and helps artists showcase their style and versatility.
The term “flash” was used because the designs were meant to be quickly chosen and tattooed, ideal for walk-ins which was the prevailing method of operation for tattoo shops. They were meant to be flashy and draw the people in. Before digital portfolios and Instagram, flash was the main way people choose their tattoos. Someone could walk into a shop, point to a design and walk out with some sick art.

Most designs are not repeatable, unless explicitly stated that they are. If you see something you like please get in contact through my submission form or send me an email at stabbygabby.gif@gmail.com. We can chat about changes that can be made to create a unique piece for you inspired by the original flash.

Be sure to have something to eat before heading in, especially if we have booked a full day session. We do have snacks available in the studio to have during your appointment, but those are boosters rather than a supplement for a proper meal. on the topic of snacks, if you have preferences please bring them along. you are free to snack in the tattoo room or have a lunch break in our kitchen area.
Don’t be concerned about hair removal, some people have fast hair growth and shaving beforehand might lead to a stubble patch that is more difficult to remove cleanly in the studio. Prepping the area is part of your tattoo session. As mentioned above, leave enough time for travelling to and/or parking. Please try not to arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment unless arranged prior. You can also absolutely bring a support person to your appointment, though I ask you keep it to one person as to not crowd the studio and other artists’ spaces.

Every piece comes with a free touch-up, at least three weeks after your initial session to ensure your piece is fully healed. Touch-ups are available for the first year following your appointment, after that I will charge my minimum of $150. If you are an international client or are unable to get to me within the year, please get in touch when you notice the need for a touch-up and i will log that for when our paths cross next.
Uneven healing could happen for many reasons, such as sun exposure when healing; clothes rubbing on scabs; infection; scratching; etc. if your tattoo is in an area prone to needing touch-ups (like hands; feet; elbows; face or neck) I will inform you of what to expect and we can plan accordingly.
